We hate socializing when we’re down. However, isolating yourself from friends and family will make you feel worse. Instead of trying to escape a difficult situation, try to bring joy into your life. Simplest way? Smile more. Smiling can make others happy too. Working joy into your life can help you stay positive and have a greater impact on those around you. There are many ways to bring joy into your life, regardless of your mood. Here’s how.

Self-care

It’s easy to neglect yourself when down. Self-care may seem obvious, but some people forget it the most. It’s time to work on self-neglect. Take a break from socializing. Eat if you must. Take a nap. Get yourself better. Self-care reduces stress and improves your personality. Good moods make you more empathetic. This improves relationships with family and friends.
